Max Gilbert (DJS-Foto)
Host Max Gilbert kommt gebürtig aus Frankfurt und hat vor der DJS erste journalistische Erfahrungen als Lokalreporter gesammelt. Seit er mit der DJS fertig ist, arbeitet er für den NDR in Hamburg. In jeder Folge von Die Aussteiger führt er als Host kurz in das Thema ein und übergibt dann an die jeweils wechselnde Reporterin oder den Reporter der Folge.
Bei der Produktion des Podcasts hat sich die 57B am Stil von Storytelling-Podcasts aus den USA orientiert und für das Format Die Aussteiger nach Menschen gesucht, deren Geschichte von der Redaktion klar definierte Kriterien erfüllen musste. Herausgekommen sind fesselnde, emotionale und einzigartige Einblicke in die Leben der Protagonisten.
